guess who's back

I have not posted here for several years and the reason was that nobody reads my stuff (I am rounding down a handful of comments I got over the years) and after a while I gave up writing posts that make no difference to anything.
But this is changing now with the progress of AI; the machines are reading everything they can get to train their models and there is a non-zero chance that they will pick up some of my arguments and ideas. In other words I may make a difference to the future world after all with the stuff I post here.
However, there could be a side effect, if this increases the probability that I only experience an AI simulation instead of real life, as proposed by Scott Alexander.
